• Regional opportunity within NSW for an Injury Management Advisor
• Key role in coaching, mentoring and developing safety capabilities at regional sites
• Opportunity for career growth and development

About the role

• Work with key stakeholders and claims managers to implement effective claims and injury management strategies to improve return to work outcomes, reduce hours lost and mitigate claims costs
• Ensure that the rehabilitation and return to work of injured team members are managed in accordance with legislative requirements, terms of our self-insurance licenses and the Myer Standard Operating Procedures
• Actively monitor and manage return to work progress to ensure issues are identified and timely action is taken
• Provide coaching and advice to site management to drive the development of capability amongst our people
• Participate in projects to deliver the Myer’s Risk & Safety Strategy, the safety system and Regional initiatives

About you

• Allied health background is preferred
• Experienced in and demonstrates sound understanding of return to work approaches and rehabilitation
• Has the ability to coach others on this capability
• Partners with the business and stakeholders to deliver timely and cost effective return to work outcomes
• Tailors communication to suit the stakeholder and partners with the business to drive consistent results
