The purpose of this role is to support the business by providing insightful analysis on insurance needs met, quality measures to proactively drive business objectives and optimise performance effectively. This role will focus particularly on the development and delivery of forward looking and actionable insights.

Reporting into the Senior Manager, Insights & Delivery you will work closely with internal teams (Customer Engagement, Product and Operations) and external teams (Retail Bank channels) to identify opportunities to grow the business through facilitation of increased insurance needs met, managing claims effectively, delivering actionable customer insights and sustainably supporting the evolving information and reporting needs of the business.

On any given day you will

• Identify performance and business improvement opportunities through fact-based insights
• Develop insightful analysis around Insurance needs met and channel performance, including Insurance needs met management reporting
• Develop GI Claims management performance reporting and KPI scorecard for internal and external stakeholders
• Work with internal partners to understand their business priorities to inform actionable and meaningful insights
• Champion and facilitate the strategic importance of customer and channel insights
• Maintain fact based presentations/reports to communicate insurance needs met and operations performance, insights and actionable recommendations
• Facilitate continuous enhancements by understanding business drivers, costs and revenue, and devising strategies to improve performance and incorporate benefits tracking methodology
• Conduct post implementation reviews of key initiatives to determine their effectiveness and deliver ongoing optimisation of reporting standards and insights

We’re interested in hearing from people who possess:

• An undergraduate degree in a business or financial discipline (preferred)  
• Experience using SQL, SAS or similar programs (preferred)
• Excellent oral communication skills and the confidence to explain detailed concepts/findings in a persuasive manner
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to write reports and present information in an insightful manner to senior management
• The ability to gather data and perform insightful analysis around business performance
• Strong commercial acumen e.g. an understanding of the effect of initiatives on the growth and profitability of a business
