We currently have an exciting position for a Business Development Officer to join the Asteron Life Sales Team. As the Business Development Officer, you will manage all inbound and reactive Sales queries, including internally escalated issues. As well as assisting with organising of events, travel and expense requirements.  The Business Development Officer role assists the National Sales team, by providing high quality sales administration support. This role is a permanent full-time position and can be located in any major city.

The Role

Supporting the national sales team, you will be involved in:

  • Management of Inbound Calls; ensuring Service Level Agreements are met and our Adviser’s receive a consistent, quality level of service.
  • Prepare new and increased quotes
  • Team calendar management
  • Reporting
  • Travel & expense management
  • Meeting co-ordination
  • Co-ordinating state based functions and events
  • Database management
  • Ad hoc administration as required by the team

 About You

  • Previous experience within the Life Insurance Industry (desirable)
  • Exceptional level of customer service and stakeholder management
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • High level of computer literacy and professional phone skills
  • Superior time management and prioritisation skills
