The Role:
You will be a senior member of the Technical Training & Quality Assurance Team, responsible for Assessor skill insight and the development and delivery of Assessor training & mentoring programmes.
You will ensure that our ability to deliver market leading consistent cost management capabilities is realised through the application of correct Repair Method via engaged Assessors delivering best cost and customer outcomes.
Primary Objectives:
- Coach and develop Auto and General’s senior assessing teams & Technical Managers in the application of consistent and correctly applied Repair Method whilst providing excellent service for our customers & balancing the needs of our business;
- A key business SME in all B2B software and quoting systems e.g. Estimage, AudaNet and Escribe whilst applying all of Auto and Generals assessing frameworks;
- As part of the Technical Training team you will lead in designing, developing and delivering training & mentoring nationally for the assessing teams;
- Conduct the completion of accurate AQAs monthly. Also be able to identify business risk areas from the AQA findings and address the risk areas with State and Technical Managers;
- Providing detailed monthly reporting to the Assessing Team and leading action planning with the State teams, including supporting Assessors to develop or reach agreed performance standards;
- Design, develop and deliver assessor training nationally in accordance with business requirements from Induction through to advanced technical & soft skill training, including Code & State based legislative considerations;
- Champion a culture of leadership excellence & change-ability.
Skills required:
- Minimum 5 years leadership/ mentoring experience in assessing;
- Minimum 5 years in the insurance industry;
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the motor body repair industry including the relationship between the insurance industry and the repair sector;
- Trade qualified as either a spray painter, panel beater or Mechanic;
- Extensive experience with Audanet/ Escribe, experienced in quoting accident damaged vehicles;
- Exceptional customer service insight and delivery;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Computer & quote package literate;
- Strong planning and organisational ability;
- Analytical and problem solving skills;
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment desirable.
