Our client owns a hotel located on the scenic Central Coast of NSW, only 1.5 hours drive from Sydney. Based in a central location in a coastal area, they have a relaxed and family-friendly hotel/pub venue with an alfresco style bistro, function rooms, sports bar, and bottle shop. They offer a variety of live entertainment on the weekends and significant accommodation facilities to cater for holidays goer, functions and conferences.
About The OpportunityThey are now looking for a Venue/Hotel Manager to join their small knit team on the Central Coast, with the potential to earn a negotiable salary based on experience + Super
The primary purpose is to be involved in all aspects of hotel operations including Food and Beverage service, gaming and the bottle shop.
Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the Owners, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Gaming - TAB, Keno, Gaming Machines
- Staff Management - Rostering, Hiring & Training
- Marketing - Promotions, Branding & Sponsorships
- Business Planning - Sales Growth & Cost Management
- Venue Management - Presentation, Entertainment, BOH & Security
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior Position, ideally within a hotel/pub environment and a current RSA and RCG. Additionally, a Forklift Licence would be beneficial for this position.
This position would suit someone who is hands-on, has great communication and leadership skills, someone who can mentor and lead a variety of different personality profiles and has a strong business acumen.
