Bare Bones Society and Same Same But Different are seeking a super talented CHEF DE PARTIE OR COMMIS CHEF OR APPRENTICE to join a young, dynamic team across our Jindalee and Corinda-based cafes. Full-time chef positions available, however casual kitchen hours are also available for the right person seeking to earn extra cash.
In order to meet our high expectations the successful applicant must show initiative, drive and be incredibly passionate about the food industry, along with a minimum of TWO years experience in a similar role.
These cafes are BUSY and FAST PACED and the successful applicant will have to be able to produce well presented, executed dishes under pressure.
You will:
- Work within a small but dynamic team.
- Prepare produce for breakfast/lunch service, plus some nights per week and occasional functions.
- Ability to work unsupervised as required.
- Work to and implement OH&S standards.
- Be fun and approachable to work with in a team environment.
- Understand the importance of organisation and professionalism to get tasks completed on time and in budget.
