Multi award winning Tour Operator with global presence hiring now for a Japan travel Specialist to work in the newly built Brisbane office!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a sales and customer service position where you will be responsible for quoting and booking escorted & packaged tours and exclusive journeys.

You will be given KPI’s to achieve however, our clients like to focus on sales through service and someone with the right attitude!

GDS understanding is preferred however, not essential as you will be learning an internal system for quoting wholesale & retail fares.


With low staff turnover & only been operating in Australia since mid 2016, my clients have currently 8 consultants with strong expansion plans of up to 30 in the next 2 years. Predominately over the phone and via email - face to face by appointment only.



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Travel Consulting experience in a retail, wholesale capacity with good knowledge of Japan
* Personal travel to Japan
* Fluent spoken and written English language
* Basic to intermediate Japanese language ideal BUT not essential
* Due to low staff turnover, we are looking for someone that can commit to at least a min of 2 years in this job with guaranteed career progression opportunities and pay rises



THE PACKAGE:

A starting base salary of $40-$42,500 + super will be provided to the right candidate + a guarantee salary increase after first 12 months and again after 24 months + get paid commission UPON deposit!!
You will also be offered a yearly full expense paid for famil opportunity!
