We are seeking an experienced Assistant Hotel Manager for this busy venue located on the spectacular coast of Western Australia. Offering beautiful beaches and fishing this is an ideal location to enjoy a laid back lifestyle and enjoy a work / life balance.
The venue features onsite Accommodation, busy bars, TAB, restaurant, bottle shop and has regular entertainment onsite for locals and tourists.
This is a hands on role working across the bars, restaurant, bottle shop and reception and candidates will only be considered if they are seeking a long term commitment to the position. You will work alongside an energetic manager with a great team of staff.
The Package:
- $55,000-$60,000 + Super
- Free, self contained onsite Accommodation
- Free Meals
- 4 Weeks Annual Leave
- Minimum 12 month contract
The successful candidates must have a hands' on approach and possess the following skills:
- Very good people skills and the ability to build an excellent rapport with customers
- Excellent presentation with a high standard of service and an eye for detail
- An extensive knowledge of food and beverage
- A good knowledge of Bottle Shop management, merchandising and retail promotions
- Demonstrated flair for coordination of entertainment for the venue
- Strong background in Hotel and Motel management
- Effective leadership, communication and organisational skills
- An ability to inspire, train and motivate staff to a level of excellence
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of retail computer systems H&L and RMS
- Sound financial and business acumen
