The role
Our beautiful park at Roxby Downs is looking to hire a couple. A unique opportunity for you to decide who should be the Assistant Manager of the park. You will either be an experienced Office Manager, managing Front Office Staff and operations of the front desk or you may be an experienced individual previously managing trades or groundsmen. Either way only one of you can be the Assistant Manager whilst the other works on a casual basis in the park.
What we're looking for
You will be dedicated and self-motivated and have flexibility to your working hours. Your ability to prioritise your workload to achieve daily outcomes is essential. You will bring to the role:
- Proven experience in accommodation park / resort maintenance
- Preferably trade qualified, however not essential
- Knowledge and understanding of WH&S and responsibilities
- Current drivers licence
- Current Heavy Rigid licence
- Pool operations qualifications desirable
- Great people and relationship building skills
- Sound computer skills, especially in the MS Office suite
- Availability to live in Park and assist with on-call duties
or
- Demonstrated skills and experience in hospitality management
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven and demonstrated experience in managing, developing and training staff
- Strong computer skills, especially in the MS Office suite
- A good understanding of yield management
- Good business networking experience
- Knowledge and understanding of WHS and responsibilities
- Previous experience with RMS or similar reservations systems
