Food and Beverage and Gaming Duty Manager
About the Role:
The Food and Beverage and Gaming Duty Manager forms an integral part of the Food and Beverage Department .
The Food and Beverage and Gaming Duty Manager reports to the Food and Beverage Manager, with responsibility across all of Food and Beverage.
The focus is on running the daily operations and lead the team to consistently perform at their highest level.
Responsibilites include the hands-on management of our gaming lounge. Therefore a current RSA, RSF and gaming licence is required.
The Food and Beverage Duty and Gaming Manager overseas as well the two hotel restaurants: a 120 seat buffet restaurant and 40 seat a la carte bistro. The cocktail bar offers a range of premium beverages. THe hotel provides 24 hour room service, and the conference facilities can cater for up to 200 delegates.
This is a hands-on role which offers great scope and autonomy for the right candidate to develop his/her skills.
Training and development opportunities will given in Front Office, Marketing, Finance and Sales, as part of a career progression plan.
About You:
The ideal candidate would be from a background of gaming and has experience in banqueting or restaurant and team management.
The position is a development platform to expand your knowledge and grow your skills.
An understanding of stocktaking controls, rostering and working in multifaceted properties with proven leadership qualities are essential to succeed. You will have a focus on process and systems to improve performance and lead the team.
Knowledge of H+L would be an advantage.
