Duties:
- Responsible for floor keys.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of linen and supply rooms in assigned area of responsibility; supervise maintenance of equipment used.
- Be aware of the procedures regarding opening of guest rooms & lost and found policies and procedure
- In charge of final inspection of all made up rooms in order of priority i.e. Check out first and submit prompt and accurate room status through the computer located on floors 15 and 27.
- Allocate other duties to Room Attendants who can not proceed with their room quota due to rooms being occupied, in addition utilise employees who have completed their quota before time for other tasks.
- VIP in house, VIP expected arrivals and long staying guests must be checked daily. Ensures fruits are replenished daily in all GC guest rooms.
- Communicate all guest and employee feedback to Housekeeping.
- Controls performance, attitude, conduct and appearance of all employees for whom there is a responsibility.
- Assist with area training and new employee orientation as requested.
Experiences and skills required:
- Customer service
- Ability to work under pressure
- Eye for detail
- Knowledge of Five star hotel environment
- Excellent communication skills; including both written and verbal
- Must have full work rights in Australia
- Work full time rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays
- At least 2 to 3 year experience as a Room Attendant in a large Hotel
