The Canberra Southern Cross Club is currently seeking suitably qualified and motivated applicants to join our Woden and Yacht venues in the casual positions of Food and Beverage Attendants for Functions areas.
You will have to:
- Provide excellent customer service in a food, beverage and gaming environment
- Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverage
- Communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen and other areas of operation
- Follow hygienic food and beverage handling procedure
- Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation
You should be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a similar club or hotel position
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
- Have valid RSA certificate (ACT valid)
- Be friendly, smiley, sociable and welcoming to our customers, to create a great atmosphere
- Enthusiastic and dynamic personality
- Be honest and reliable
- Knowledge of WHS and food hygiene requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work varied hours including nightshifts and weekend work
