The Doyalson Wyee RSL Club is an entertainment destination of choice for our 27,000 members and their guests on the Central Coast. The Doylo boasts a 300 seat Restaurant, Café, 3 bars, 3 function rooms (including Club Auditorium), 220 gaming machines, brand new indoor and outdoor TAB and Keno facilities.
The Club consists of a state-of-the-art heath centre, Active Fitness HQ, as well as a 360 seat outdoor area with a bar and restaurant, showcasing craft beer and premium spirits, matched with a variety of mouth-watering smoked meats and share platters.
The Doylo is currently recruiting a strong, motivated leader and team player to undertake a Club Duty Manager role at the Cub. The Duty Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Club; ensuring superior levels of service are being met at all times. This includes effectively allocating work to and supervising employees in all frontline areas of the Club, as well as maintaining and complying with all safety, stock and equipment procedures.
This role is integral to the success of our Organisation. Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Staff management;
- Patron management;
- Overseeing implementation of RSA and RCG practices;
- Customer enquiries and/or complaints;
- Enforcing and advocating Club Policies and Procedures;
- Being a positive team-focused individual who leads by example.
Our successful candidate will demonstrate:
- At least 5 years' experience in relevant frontline supervisory role;
- Experience in effectively managing staff/leading a team;
- Current RSA, RCG + TAB Qualifications;
- Sound knowledge of Clubs industry and hospitality trends more generally;
- Positive, pro-active and motivated individual able to effectively lead a large team (over 170 employees);
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure effectively throughout busy trading times.
This is a tough and rewarding role. Working on a rotating roster. Permanent full-time position. Remuneration commensurate with skills and experience.
