Due to rapid growth in our NSW assets, we have a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to work closely with our Park Manager in one of our most popular tourist parks. 

 

This freehold community is located in a prime tourism location approximately two and a half hours north of Sydney. It is adjacent to the Soldiers Point Bowling Club, providing access to a range of facilities, entertainment and dining options. Soldiers Point is a well located, mixed-use community which provides redevelopment opportunities and further strengthens Ingenia’s footprint in the NSW market.

 

The Role

You will support the Park Manager with the daily operations of the park. From assisting housekeeping staff, to creating staff rosters - no two days will be the same and you will thrive in a busy work environment. This role includes: 

  • Leading your team to ensure guests enjoy a high standard of service during their stay
  • Human Resource functions including rostering, performance management and recruitment
  • Administration such as budgeting and understanding the financial aspects of the Park
  • Creating programmes for Kids Club and hands on participation
  • Attending to after hours call outs as required
  • Collecting outstanding payments from guests and permanent residents

About the Person

You have a keen interest in tourism and hospitality, and are looking to progress in a long term opportunity with a growing company. Key to your success will be demonstrating: 

  • Excellent administrative and computer skills
  • Previous experience as a Manager within Hospitality or Tourism
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in developing team members
  • Understanding of financial controls and practices
  • Ability to go above and beyond to meet company objectives as well as ensuring customer satisfaction
