Position:
We are currently seeking a Japanese Speaking Tour Coordinator to join our busy Japanese Inbound Team based in the Sydney CBD. This position is suitable for candidates with previous similar experience. However we will consider a candidate who has genuine interests in the tourism industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to enquiries from Japan;
- Liaise with local suppliers to negotiate prices;
- Process purchases and create itineraries, input data in the system;
- Prepare planning proposals for Japan Package Tours;
- Provide general support to other team members;
- Prepare product information for clients;
- Quote package tours through the system.
Essential Criteria:
- Fluent Japanese language skills (reading and writing);
- Sound knowledge of Australian tourist attractions;
- Ability to learn quotation systems;
- Customer service skills;
- Office work experience;
- Attention to detail;
- Team player.
Desirable Criteria:
- Travel industry experience.
