Working with one of Australia’s best known Facility Services companies, we are currently looking to grow our pool of experienced chefs who are interested in working on casual, ad hoc basis.
The goal is to exceed customer expectations in every way. To do this we require experienced chefs who are able to deliver the following:
- Prepare dishes in accordance with menu requirements using standard recipes and production methods
- Receive, store and safely manage kitchen supplies
- Clean and maintain kitchen premises
- Apply catering controls principles
- Plan and deliver food that meets special dietary/cultural requirements
We are looking for team players with the following:
- Trade qualifications in commercial cookery
- FIFO/ Bulk Catering experience (Min. 300 people/ covers per service)
- Ability to work unsupervised
- A passion for the industry
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- General knowledge of OH&S procedures
