You will be responsible for a high standard of service and some creative input across the menu, including private functions, corporate events, wedding packages and high-end dinner parties. Advancement within this kitchen is on offer to a consistently performing, reliable, hard-working chef.
Required:
- Ability to maintain high and consistent food standards always
- Flexibility with working hours
- Australian recognised Certificate in Commercial Cookery
- Experience working in a similar environment
- Passion for cooking
- Demonstrated experienced in managing consistent quality
- Effective leadership skills
- Exceptional time management
- Excellent communication skills,
- In depth knowledge & adherence to HACCP
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during busy service times
- Menu development and costings
- Excellent communication skills and report writing
