The world famous Husky Pub is a fully renovated modern hotel. It is a full service hotel with accommodation, sports bar, and a bistro and terrace that seats 500+ pax.

The bistro is open from 11;30am till 9.00pm 7 days/week.  The bistro routinely serves 1,000+ meals/day in holidays and weekends and 200+ meals/day at other times.  

The hotel has an openings for two experienced F&B Managers. The role is to manage the front of house operations when you are on duty. This includes:

  • Ensuring a superior customer experience
  • Managing a staff of between 10 and 20 people per shift depending on the season.
  • Managing the hotel presentation,
  • Manage the staff duties and customer service for your shift and also leave the property in good condition for the next shift;
  • Ensure the cash is properly managed; and
  • Ensure legal obligations and compliance are met.

We recognise that a life outside work is important; so the job has a variety of day and evening shifts.

You should have excellent skills in managing staff, managing labour cost, ensuring excellent customer experience, some experience with gaming/TAB, cash management and the administration aspects of a food and beverage business. You have an ego and manner that builds the team around you.

Specific job aspects will include:

  • Supervise the front of house operations during service periods.
  • Assist with staff training
  • Manage staff to deliver a superior customer experience.
  • Manage staff shifts to ensure efficient labour costs and excellent customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel operation procedures.
  • Amend  procedures as appropriate.
  • Set behaviour example for staff in conduct and customer service
