Pan Pacific Melbourne is conveniently located in the heart of South Wharf and provides easy access to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Central Business District and key local attractions.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the successful Commis Chef are responsible for the production of menu items across our food and beverage outlets including Dock 37, Café ORR and meeting and event spaces.

The successful Commis Chef will:

• Be responsible for the preparation and production of ingredients and menu items to the required standard
• Be able to work a rotating roster with early starts and late finishes. 
• Ensure a high level of attention and care to special requests and food allergies
• Follow food hygiene regulations at all times
• Follow hotel policies and procedures at all times

Ideally you will have:

• A genuine passion for food
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment
• Weekend and evening availability is essential
