About the role
Our iconic venue is looking for a passionate and clever chef to take on the Head Chef role. We are looking for someone who can be cost effective in their delivery of outstanding food. Motivate a small but dynamic brigade, and work with the executive chef to deliver exceptional quality food in Orange.
What you would be doing
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Menu design and implementation
- Kitchen operational duties, eg WH&S, Ordering, training of apprentices etc.
- HR & management of your brigade.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:
- A chef who is looking to motivate a young team and take them to the next level in their culinary journey.
- Experience in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years.
- A proven track record in venues of similar size, in areas of menu planning, management and kitchen operations.
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure. This is a kitchen that need s a strong an effective leader.
