Based within the Sydney International terminal this is your opportunity to join our Food and Beverage team in the Qantas First Class Lounge .
As a key member of our team you will represent our friendly and professional service philosophy of Feel Valued and Feel wecome. Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Explain the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when recommending beverages.
- Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals
- Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy
- Prepare beverages and espresso coffee to specification and to a high standard
- Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
- Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practises
As a successful candidate you will have:
- A friendly, customer focused attitude with the drive to provide Total Customer Satisfaction
- A high level of food, wine, cocktail & beverage knowledge
- Flexibility in regards to your work availability is essential, as the Lounge operates 7 days a week, including public holidays.
- Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and efficient
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card/Certificate
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a must
- Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients
- A high standard of grooming and presentation
- The ability to obtain Full Federal police clearance in order to work in restricted work areas.
