The newly renovated Cafe Kindle brings a fresh new look and feel to café dining at Gosford RSL Club. Offering a range of  juices and smoothies, and a variety of delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner and light snack options, there is something for everyone.

The Role

We are looking for passionate Chef to work alongside our Head Chef and other team members to service Cafe Kindle.

You will play a key role in ensuring our high standards and quality of food service is provided to our Cafe members and guests. You will be responsible for;

  • Food preparation, cooking and presentation of all cafe menus to an exceptional standard
  • Wastage control
  • Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and a safe working environment
  • Have the knowledge and ability to contribute to the menu options

The role is a full time position, 38 hours across a 5 day roster. The roster will be a good mix of day and night shifts from Wednesday through to Sunday. On a normal week there are no split shifts with day shifts commencing at 8am and night shifts finishing up at 10pm. Flexibility in hours will be required depending on different trading requirements. 

Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience in a fast paced cafe or commercial kitchen 
  • Have a passion for cooking good quality food
  • Enjoy working in a high volume and pressure service environment
  • Have effective communication skills
