Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesCater Care are seeking an experienced Breakfast Cook/Cold Larder at an Aged Care facility in the Caulfield North .
The key to our success is our people. Your role in this environment is to provide friendly, attentive and efficient service to our valued residents through the cooking of hot breakfast items, sandwiches, salads and platting up meals, preparation of ingredients and food service.
Reporting to the Chef Manager, the key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of breakfast: porridge, toast and hot breakfast, morning tea, sandwiches, salads, fruit and platting up
- Special diets and diet requirements including allergies/intolerances, supplements and texture modified soft & purees
- Maintaining food safety, kitchen hygiene, clean and tidy kitchen areas and washing dishes
- Previous food handling, breakfast cook and sandwich hand
- Confident knife skills
- A passion for great food and customer service
- Strong OH&S awareness
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to communicate to various stakeholders
Roster: Monday to Friday 6:30am - 1:00pm
