The Royal Automobile Club of Australia is looking for an enthusiastic Full Time Sous Chef to join our growing team. As Sous Chef you will be required to be a natural team leader assisting the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations and aiding in the recreation of the venue as a food driven environment. You will need to have experience and a good understanding of functions, a la carte and bistro. You will need to be confident and stable in the running and maintaining of a smooth, punctual section in the kitchen with the ability to multi task.
The role will include but not limited to:
The Position is Full time and Salaried.
To be successful for this Position you must have;
Australian Citizenship or Required Visa
Able to work Fulltime Hours.
Excellent communication Skills, the ability to speak and clearly understand English.
Be able to be flexible with your Hours.
Extensive Knowledge of both A la Carte and Functions.
Previous supervisory or management experience in a similar role
A sound knowledge of food and cost control
The ability to problem solve, delegate and prioritise with a strong eye for detail
Motivated to consistently work at a high quality.
Excellent Grooming and Personnel Hygiene.
Ability to work under pressure and independently or as part of the Team.
The Ability to supervise junior team members.
