About the business
Mira cafe & restaurant will be operated from mid-July in an iconic resort in Whitsunday with extraordinary fit-out and spectacular ocean view.
Mira cafe will be offered gourmet buffet breakfast & creative East+ West lunch menu.
Ambrosia Fine Asian Cuisine Restaurant will be opened for dinner, aims to provide an unique dining experience with best Asian dishes cooked by fresh Whitsundays produce & Chef's passion!!
About the role
- Liaise with the owners who are engaged in the key role of head chef and business development manager and the resort
- Coordinate and communicate with front of house and back of house to ensure daily operation smooth and well
- At all times maintain a high level of professionalism, including communication skills that will be required to engage a varied demographic of clientele
- Management of venue commercials ensuring that wage costs, revenue and forecasting are managed closely and meet required targets.
- Recruitment, training, development and motivation of staff that lead to exceptional guest experiences
- Required to organize and confirm daily bookings including group and event enquiries every time
- Oversee quality standards as set out by the ownership team
- Rostering
- Stock ordering and rotation
- Beverage and menu development
- Customer relations and complaint handlings
- Able to on broad with us before mid-July

- Food & beverage knowledge
- Be available to work nights & days of the week including Public Holidays
- Passionate and reliable approach to your work
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
