Eclipse Travel is one of Australia's fastest growing travel companies specialising in South America, Central America, Africa, the Arctic and Antarctica. We are seeking applicants with a proven background in tailor-made travel who have the ability to increase sales growth and turnover for the business.
Must haves:
The successful candidate should possess the following core competencies;
- Contract/rate negotiation experience
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships
- Demonstrable knowledge and infectious passion about the destinations and products we specialise in
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills & a solid understanding of sales
- Ability to develop and coordinate exciting packages and campaigns working closely with our marketing team
- Strong written English skills to develop and improve content in our brochures, website and client documentation
As well as being confident performing these duties, you will also need to possess all or the majority of the following skills;
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Experience in handling complaints & dispute resolution
- Strong IT skills including good knowledge of MS Excel. GDS training and an understanding of WordPress are a bonus
- Good analytical skills & understanding the importance of profit/performance
- Be a positive, outgoing, and enthusiastic person who is comfortable interacting with others and being a representative of the company
- Detail oriented and willing to take on some loading tasks
- Demonstrate a resilience to working under pressure
- Ability to train new and existing staff
Previous experience as a dedicated Product Manager in the travel industry is highly desirable and salary will be commensurate with experience. A variety of exciting travel opportunities are on offer as well.
