Restaurant Manager
Lotus Dining is rapidly expanding and looking for career minded people to join the Management team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who loves creating memorable dining experiences. You really have to be on top of your game, quick on your feet, have sound product knowledge and have honed your hospitality skills over some years. If you enjoy dynamic services, then we are what you’re looking for.
You will have the support of a strong management team, internal and external training, opportunity for growth and career progression. The role is perfect for a seasoned Supervisor looking for new opportunities within a progressive and expanding group.
Requirements and abilities;
• Minimum three years’ experience as a restaurant manager
• Manage front and back of house operations
• Working product knowledge of all food and beverage and the ability to impart knowledge to staff
• Consistently review operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
• Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensure all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations
• Follow restaurant policies and procedures, including those for cash handing and safety/security
• Financial acumen – adhering to budgets, KPIs, GP, wages – setting goals & targets, cost cutting
• Assist in new menu promotions and marketing drives
• Conduct staff training sessions and daily briefings
• Able to work weekends and nights – restaurant open 7 days lunch and dinner
Ability to lead by example, be hands on and can instil a sense of fun in the workplace •
