The Opportunity

Due to growth, an exciting opportunity exists for a fully qualified Travel Consultant to join this high performing Sale based team. Reporting to the Managing Director, this offers a rare opportunity to not only utilise your strong organisational skills in providing support to current clients but also to develop your portfolio through new markets and opportunities. Educational travel and other benefits are offered as part of the package when available and benchmarks have been achieved.

The Position

A motivated self-starter, your drive to help continue to build the business will reward you with a diverse role where you will be responsible for the provision of professional and high quality travel assistance including:

  • provide literature and information to clients on local, interstate & international requirements;
  • discuss requirements with clients and offer suitable options;
  • plan, prepare and cost itineraries;
  • make travel, accommodation and related bookings and problem solve where required;
  • offer flexible alternatives when necessary;
  • offer supportive assistance to team members;
  • collect payments and maintain records of transactions; and
  • contribute to process improvement initiatives and efficiencies.

So if you are….

  • an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships;
  • proficient in the Microsoft Office suite to an intermediate level, Amadeus and Travel Log would be an advantage;
  • strong in literacy and numeracy skills;
  • experienced in the travel industry with 3 -5 years on the job;
  • currently qualified to Cert III or higher; and
  • willing to work a rotating roster including Saturday morning.
