Assistant Manager/ Function Manager
The Beach Hotel
Located in the southern part of Adelaide on the corner of Commercial Rd and Griffiths Drive, the Beach Hotel is searching for a dynamic individual to operate and assist within the business.
Under the GM Hotels banner and trading seven days per week this is a high turnover venue with 5 bars , TAB and Gaming Facilities , 220 seated Bistro, Function room located upstairs of the venue and a large celebrations drive thru bottle shop .This role requires someone who is a hands on and innovative leader with a keen eye for detail.
The successful applicant must be enthusiastic and self-driven, have a proven track within similar roles, with experience in relevant management roles. You will be required to demonstrate competence in business planning, sales growth strategies, cost control, stock management systems and staff management. Current RSG / RSA and Advance Gaming Certificates

Your responsibilities will include:
• Deliver growth and budget targets for each of the departments
• Provide and implement innovative ideas to achieve continual growth and financial performance.
• Manage consistent delivery of quality customer service across your department.
• Proactively lead your team in planning and implementing day-to-day operations, including the areas of customer service, team development, sales & marketing
• Provide effective leadership and development of your team to achieve the business objectives.
• Provide weekly commentary and analysis to the Venue Manager.
• Contribute to the hotel’s strategic 180 Day Plans
