Perfectly located in central Mitchell Street, Darwin, Monsoon’s is a vibrant and energetic venue currently looking for a full time chef to join the kitchen team.
The ideal applicant will come from a similar environment, being a strong qualified Chef who is very hands-on and has experience in busy kitchens. The successful Chef will need to be reliable, have a genuine passion for food and most of all a great attitude.
In addition to the above, we are looking for someone with:
- A keen eye for detail
- Ambitious to succeed in the kitchen
- Great team work and communication skills
- Ability to handle high volume service
- Ability to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
- An understanding of food-related health & safety procedures to protect the health, safety and welfare of customers and employees
