About the business and the role
Pialligo Estate encompasses multiple dining outlets, a smokehouse, vineyard and olive grove. We are now recruiting a Chef de Partie who has the passion and ability to help to drive the Garden Pavilions to a new level.
Reporting to the Head Chef you will work within a close knit team in daily operations of the Garden Pavilions which are absolutely unique to the Canberra dining scene. Ideally you will be looking to invest in the long term and assist us to build a world class venue just 15 minutes from the Canberra CBD.
The Role
The successful candidate will be required to;
Work hard and learn from a highly experienced Head Chef;
Thrive in an environment of teamwork idea sharing;
Have mastery of at least one section of the kitchen;
Have an input around the menu;
Grow with the position and climb the ranks of the kitchen.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate;
Great personal presentation and hygiene;
Enthusiasm for the industry;
An ability to work well under pressure;
Excellent communication skills;
A positive 'can do' attitude;
A willingness to improve their cooking on a daily basis.
Consideration will be made for visa sponsorship (transfer only) only on the condition that the candidate is currently is Australia and available for interview in Canberra within the next two weeks.
