Mounties Group comprises of 7 Registered Clubs across Sydney's South West and Northern Beaches and proudly boasts the largest Club membership in NSW with 108,000 members.

The Harbord Diggers Club is currently undergoing a phenomenal transformation building a world class intergenerational precinct. To support the venture, the team is in the process of developing an authentic team who share the same values and champion our vision of a superior customer experience.

The role:

We are now looking for a Chef de partie to assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering the NEW café concept in our exciting future venue.

  • Maintaining consistent standards of execution
  • Managing food prep and ordering produce, with coaching and direction.
  • Consistently monitor product costs to remain within goals.
  • Ensure compliance to food handling practices and general cleaning duties
  • Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of food quality
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the success of a large-scale project

The person:

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

  • Experience as Chef de partie in high volume kitchen
  • Self-discipline, team player with initiative.
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Organised and customer focused
  • Motivation, urgency and consistency
  • Experience in making cold larder dishes
  • Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and appropriately manage solutions with Sous chef and Head chef.
  • Must be able to take ownership and responsibility of a preparation section and service station.
  • Full availability (days, nights, weekends & public holidays)
