Our client is a Sydney institution and the parties here go well into the night. There are generous perks including free laundry, subsidised travel and parking with a competetive salary package of $67k.

As a Junior Sous Chef of this Asian restaurant, you will be working the woks like a champion. You have to be confident and capable of dealing with high volume, but you won’t be worked into the ground here, the conditions are great. There are some late nights needed, but with a big crew of 30 chefs the load is shared really well.

The ideal candidate:

• Accountable for overseeing a section of the kitchen to ensure that the overall operation runs smoothly and effectively
• Train staff at lower levels and coach and direct employees to perform to Kitchen Operations
• Use correct techniques, procedures and recipes for preparing and cooking food
• Check food cost on a daily basis and ensure continual awareness of monthly food cost
• A clean and efficient worker

The salary on offer is a $67k package with laundry, parking and travel perks on top.
