We have an exciting opportunity for a Revenue & Distribution Manager to join our 1834 Hotels management team, based at our Brisbane office. This is a permanent, full-time position.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Revenue & Distribution (DoRD), your responsibilities will focus on revenue management and distribution for the group of hotels within our 1834 network. Providing specialist revenue support & analysis for the managers at property level and the 1834 Executive Team.
 
You will be responsible for supporting the DoRD and broader 1834 Hotels management team in the provision of high quality and insightful reporting and analysis. This includes the production of daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reporting. Managing all aspects of competitor intelligence and benchmarking; overseeing and training staff in RM systems and rate shopping tools; and recommending overall revenue strategies to our property managers are also critical parts of this role. In order to best service and support our hotels, regular travel will be involved to get onsite with our managers and develop our revenue culture.

You will also work with our Distribution Manager to oversee the interfacing from each PMS to their channel managers & online travel agents; provide training and support to key team members in these areas; and be responsible for managing relationships with online market managers and their technical teams to maximise each hotel’s exposure through these channels.

The person we are looking for -

• Has practical revenue management experience in the hotel/travel industry;
• Has a solid understanding of revenue management principles;
• Has extensive data analytical experience in analysis and report generation;
• Has strong mathematical & technical ability with an exceptional attention to detail;
• Possesses advanced MS Excel skills;
• Has extensive knowledge and experience in Property Management Systems, Channel Managers and OTA & GDS Extranets;
• Any experience in or exposure to Qlikview BI Tool or Duetto RM software would be advantageous
• Uses their strong communication skills to develop relationships with key partners, and key managers at property level;
• Knowledge in any of our markets would be of benefit, as would any experience working across multiple properties.
• Flexibility to travel regularly throughout the network and at short notice is essential
