We are a high profile cafe in Clovelly looking for a passionate, motivated chef to join our young, dynamic team.
You will be working closely with the head chef, assisting in ordering, organising and running of the kitchen.
We are a busy 65 seater cafe, serving modern breakfast & lunch fare.
We pride ourselves in the use of seasonal produce and making everything in house, and are keen for a chef with a passion for food and what each season has to offer.
The role is 40 - 45 hours a week (one weekend day inclusive) - day time hours only 6am-4pm approximately. No nights!
Two days off a week minimum - ensuring a work / life balance
Close to the beach, busy cafe, exciting menu.
What we are looking for:
A team leader & a team player, that is both calm under pressure, and happy to encourage and support a team of talented hardworking chefs.
We are after an experienced sous chef, who has love for food and cafe culture, that is happy to work with the head chef to lead the kitchen & push the cafe to the next level.
