The RACV Goldfields Resort located in Creswick, close to Ballarat and Daylesford, is a 4.5 Star resort offering a range of quality accommodation, an 18-hole golf course, 6.1km mountain bike trail, swimming pool, gym, day spa, bar and restaurant, and extensive conference and event facilities. An exciting but rare opportunity has arisen at our resort for a professional Conference & Events Sales Manager to join the leadership team.
So how do you fit into this picture? You’ll be more than a one trick pony, described in the industry as a seasoned Conference and Events professional, committed to creating truly memorable experiences whilst having a reputation for making things happen. You’ll be able to draw upon your networks to secure business from corporate, leisure, government and industry groups. Experience will have honed your yield management skills and you will utilise this knowledge to drive optimum results for both the department and wider resort.
As a senior leader, you’ll naturally build capability in your team while providing high-level direction and driving outcomes through the resort. Standardising processes to mirror best practice and bouncing between strategy and hands on work will be things that excite you. You’ll ooze passion, infecting all of those that cross your path and ambassador the resort by getting involved in the local community and broader region - you are selling the most spectacular recent addition to the Conference and Events space in Regional Victoria after all!
The kind of background we’re going to be really excited about is extensive C&E experience in four or five star hotels or resorts, strong leadership and yield management skills and if you have pre-opening experience on top of this well then you need to apply right now!
