About the role
Le Sorelle Coffee House is looking for a very enthusiastic and experienced cook to work within a our fast paced kitchen. We have a 'captured market' in the local Bowen, Whitsundays area serving quality food in a relaxed dining room with plenty of locals dining. The team is well established and work very well together. However we require an additional and experienced cook to make leadership decisions.The venue operates 7 days and the kitchen team work 5 days each with two regular days off.
We are looking for someone who wants to create or continue a career in the industry rather that just a job
What you would be doing
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
- Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies
- Menu planning
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:
- Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- 2 Years Experience in a similar role
- Creative, and passionate about food and providing high standards of food service
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
