Requirements:
To be considered for this position of cook, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Passion and experience preparing Asian cuisine
- Lead in the delivery of exceptional standards and outstanding service
- Proven ability to work under pressure, confidence in your ability and decision making
- Experience in a variety of sections with significant experience in Asian Cuisine
- Passion for the industry is a must along with a continuous thirst for knowledge
- Understanding of food safety standards and maintain high and consistent standards
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Proactively assume additional responsibilities

Restaurant Manager * 2
About the Role:
This role of restaurant manager acts as a direct line between the owner of the venue and the staff. The role is spread between operations, customer service and management.
Main Tasks and Duties:
- Planning and organizing catering and other restaurant services
- Coordinating with chefs to plan and modify menus regularly
- Planning and balancing the budget, checking that everything is in order and that the account balance
- Organizing marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes
- Organizing of stock, ordering food and drink supplies and other necessary purchases
- Overseeing of food preparation and checking the quality and size of the servings
- Ensuring correct, safe and economical use of equipment, and reporting any faults to the directors immediately
- Making sure the kitchen and dining areas are cleaned
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Meeting and greeting customers
- Dealing with customers' inquires and building on-going relationships
- Dealing with customer complaints and comments
- Interviewing, hiring and supervising the training of new staff members, as well as organizing shifts and promoting good teamwork
- Observing and monitoring staff's performance
- May assist in any areas of the restaurant when required
Skills and Experience:
- At least Certificate III / Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent level
- Relevant work experience in hospitality industry
- Broad knowledge of food safety procedures and workplace hygiene procedures
Base Salary: 54,000
