A unique opportunity exists to join one of Adelaide's busiest gastropubs. This is a full time, permanent position with an appealing and flexible roster. The Sous Chef role will work in close support of the Head Chef, managing staff, designing menus and be responsible for general running of the kitchen.

The Sous Chef position involves the following duties:

1) Develop a close allegiance with the Head Chef to manage all kitchen operations and staff

2) Coordinate all aspects of the kitchen including supervising staff, rostering, stock control, menu design & development of daily specials

3) Have a flair for genuinely creative modern Australian cuisine in its design and implementation

The ideal applicants will be :

1) Hands on, enthusiastic, organised, well presented with good cheffing and cooking skills.
2) Have had suitable experience as a Sous Chef
3) Wanting to secure a permanent, full time position in a boutique hotel.
