Gosford Private is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commercial Cook to join our cooking / catering team. Guaranteed permanent part time of 40 hours per fortnight.

Essential Criteria

TAFE or equivalent qualification in cooking
Minimum two (2) years experience in food preparation
Demonstrated customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Highly developed interpersonal skills

Desired criteria

Knowledge of nutrition issues and special diets
Hospital experience
Understanding of the Vulnerable Person Food Safety scheme
Previous cook/ chill experience

Duties include

Food preparation and plating
Ordering
Stock rotation and control
Cleaning of cooking equipment
Food safety documentation
