We are looking for a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Chef to join our team at Beenleigh RSL Mt Warren Golf Club. You will be working in an established team who will support you on your journey to becoming a qualified Chef.
You need to have commitment, reliability, dedication, a strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. You must have a willingness to learn and be open to feedback, have high attention to detail and a passion for food is a must! The role requires you to have full availability over a 7-day period.
If successful, you will gain the ability to work over all sections in our kitchen with exposure to large scale of function work, both alternate drop and buffet style under some already highly accomplished Chefs. Our reputation for quality food is held high so this is your chance to be a part of a great learning experience and to work for a great organisation.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Desire to succeed in hospitality with a can do attitude
- Strong interest in all types of cooking styles
- Flexibility to work on a roster with a variety of shifts (splits & straights)
- Professional presentation and attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt within the team
- Access to own transport will be required.
