The Canberra Southern Cross Club is currently seeking suitably qualified and motivated applicants to apply for the position of “The Patio” Manager in our soon to be completed Woden Central. 

Main responsibilities

  • Coordinate effective and efficient Restaurant operations by delivering a superior service culture
  • Build loyalty by delivering an enhanced level of customer satisfaction and experience
  • Manage Restaurant bookings and staff, including weekly rosters
  • Assist the Woden Central Manager in managing and achieving roster and revenue budgets
  • Maintain control over cash management
  • Promote a positive work environment and a culture of excellence within Woden Central
  • Contribute to the review and development of menus which meet the requirements of the “The Patio” clients
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Work in other areas of Woden Central as required

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar position
  • Experience in managing rosters and small teams
  • Ability to stay up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated customer service experience with the ability to quickly resolve complaints
  • Extensive food&beverage knowledge with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (must be recognised in the ACT)
  • Formal qualifications in hospitality and/or management (desirable)
