The Position  

We have a vacancy at one of our corporate sites on the Upper North Shore and would love to hear from you! We're looking for a hands on Catering Assistant, someone who's passionate about service, food & most of all people. You'll ideally have had similar experience in a corporate setting and have a "can do" attitude to everything you do!

Key Duties

• Basic food preparation, service and delivery
• Food & Beverage service in a corporate environment
• Thorough cleaning of kitchen including dishes and floors
• Stock rotation and stock control
• Unpacking goods and checking deliveries
• Cash handling
• Ensuring Food Safety standards are met and adhered to
• Any other ad hoc duties as required by our fantastic Chefs and Management
• Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard

The Person

• Catering experience in a commercial kitchen
• Develops effective relationships with individuals at all levels, from diverse backgrounds, cultures and locations
• Is passionate about delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction and engagement
• Will have great attention to detail with an excellent ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Passion for great food and service with Barista skills an added advantage
