National Business Development Manager - Travel
- International travel supplier looking for representation in Australia
- Growing global brand, great opportunity to kick start relationships in the Australia and New Zealand market
- Stand-alone role, make this role your own
Travel Business Development Manager Job Role:
- Reporting in to an overseas head office you will be responsible for carrying out commercial negotiations with trade industry partners, developing relationships with owners and directors of major travel agency clients.
- Identifying new distribution channels and achieving the growth target in passenger numbers and revenue.
- Ongoing analysis of yield management and creating a strategy to increase revenue
Travel BDM experiences we are looking for:
- A proven track record and in depth knowledge of the Australia travel trade distribution channels
- Strong B2B Sales experience but also an understanding of brand building, B2C and revenue management.
- Financially and commercially astute
- Flexible to travel nationally
Travel BDM Remuneration
- This is a newly created role and as such will be looking to pay market rate depending on experience including a fixed salary plus a performance related incentive bonus.
- Home based role with national travel as required.
- This is a permanent role but as this international travel supplier is yet to have a business entity in Australia, they will be looking to employ someone as an independent contractor.
