St Mark's Road Co. is a new day and night concept inspired by Adina Apartment hotels' need for a casual yet appealing restaurant and cafe space that attracts hotel guests, corporates and passers-by.

The name "St Marks Road" is an acknowledgement of our history, being the location of the first Toga hotel in 1982.

The focus of St Mark's Road Co. will be on creating a multi-use space that is warm and welcoming in service, design, feel and ambiance, an environment that is appealing as a casual place to catch up with friends, work, or simply hang out.

St Marks Rd Co. is a brand which will continue to evolve our F&B offering.

St Marks Road Co. will become known for excellently brewed coffee, a classic seasonal café and restaurant fare inspired menu and a simple yet sophisticated wine and cocktail offering.

About the Role

St Marks Rd Co. have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and career driven team player to join their team as a Restaurant and Bar Manager.  In order to be successful in the position the main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

About You

• You’re an engaging and outgoing team player who gets a kick out of delivering exceptional service and thrives on being part of a high performing team.
• You love food & drink and take a keen interest in the latest trends, the hottest new venues and stay across ever-evolving guest expectations
• You’re passionate about staging great bar & dining experiences for guests and have the ability to create a connection with people from all walks of life
• You’re really competent at all of the basics including; taking orders, clearing and resetting tables, providing suggestions on menu options, and providing bar and beverage service
• You take great pride in your venue and you ensure that your space is always warm and inviting
• Available for evening shifts

In order to hit the ground running you will have:

• A minimum of 3 years previous experience in staging awesome dining experiences in a bar, restaurant or hotel setting
• Experience in leading a team
• A sound knowledge of Australian Food, Beer and Wine
• An ability to thrive under pressure and work as a team in a high paced environment while maintaining our high customer service standards
• A great sense of style and immaculate presentation and grooming
• You have a current Responsible Service Alcohol (RSA) certificate
