Kings Canyon is one of the Red Centre's little known jewels. Hidden deep in Watarrka National Park, it is a breath taking sandstone chasm that spectacularly plunges over 150 metres into the earth. Home to Kings Canyon Rim Walk, the area receives more than 250,000 international and domestic visitors per year.

The property is looking for an experienced Receptionist/GSA to join their team. Someone with Guest Service Agent and Receptionist experience would be highly regarded in this role also as there is a potential for a shared role.  You will be joining a team of committed, passionate and service focused team striving to provide an exceptional guest experience.

Your role responsibilities will include;

• Being the first and central point of contact to all guests and handling requests accordingly
• Provide excellent customer service
• Liaise with other departments around the resort

For this role, you will have;

• Previous Guest Service experience in a Resort or Hotel.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service or front office role.
• Confident in using all standard computer packages.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and prioritising skills.
• Passion for selling and promoting guest services and attractions.
• A desire to understand and develop relationships with fellow employees and guests
• An enjoyment in socialising and having a laugh with your colleagues out of  recognised work hours
• A calm, cool as ice and positive ‘glass half full’ approach to dealing with day to day issues
• A fun, bubbly, energetic and lively personality!
• An admiration for living in a remote wilderness paradise and have a love for the great outdoors!

Qualifications;

• Previous experience working on Reception at a Resort/Hotel or a similar environment
• Full Open Driver’s license/Manual (State specific)
• Senior First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain if required

These are "live-on" remote location roles.  Working in a remote location is not for everyone, so you must think carefully about the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time.
