This Sydney venue is not for the feint hearted, you must have the experience to take full accountability of operations in its entirety in the absence of the GM. All operations, planning and execution of functions, staff recruitment and training and first and foremost be on the ground with the team. It is highly advantageous to have atleast 2 years experience in a senior role in high volume venues with entertainment and events on your resume.
Key Criteria:
- A strong background in staff recruitment, development and training
- Large amount of operational experience, especially in premium venues
- Above standard interest in worldwide hospitality trends
- A keen eye on lighting, music, presentation, overall ambience of the venue from day to day
- Ability to develop and maintain the highest service standards
- The drive to earn more money as the business grows
- Ability to think outside the square
- Experience with developing relationships and planning for events
- Confidence in dealing with authorities and ensuring venue compliance
