An exciting opportunity for a very driven industry experienced General Manager, to join an Iconic Brand.  A well-known favourite in the Restaurant / Hospitality market, with an authentic cuisine that is brimming with flavour, and a unique dining experience to match. 

The General Manager will be instrumental to the continued success of this brand, focussing on proving leadership, whilst maximising profitability. The role itself offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic self-motivated General Manager, to carve out a rewarding and successful career in one of the most exciting and highly Iconic Dining / Hospitality restaurant in Sydney.

As General Manager you will plan, lead and manage multiple services (i.e., food service, merchandising, event planning, facilities, etc.) to meet operating and financial goals, and most importantly…Customer Satisfaction.  You will be responsible for the development and growth of the venues cross vertical teams. Improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability. You will be financially savvy, with a solid understanding of the restaurant industry’s financial processes, enabling you to produce metrics reports.

You are required to have a structured business approach, develop and implement standards of quality and performance in all departments, in all phases of the operation by analysing and preparing various operational reports which in turn will allow you to develop more efficient procedures. An enthusiastic leader, on your feet thinker, a problem solver and communicator.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to food service operations.
Ability to respond effectively to changing demands.
Create and implement systems that derive successful restaurant and team performance.
Manage food and vendor relationships.
Manage existing, food, beverage and labour costs.
Previous experience in working within a high volume restaurant.
Maximise sales potential and profitability, monitor all costs related to restaurant functions.

Qualifications:
You will be degree qualified in Food Service Management, Business Administration, or other related field, plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship. P&L, Developing Budgets, Financial Planning and Strategy, Decision Making, Process Improvement, Strategic Planning, Labour/Scheduling, Training & Team Development, Quality Focus.
