We are looking for an experienced cook for our client in the western suburbs of Brisbane. 

In this hands on roles, the chosen candidates must:
- Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible
- Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guide lines
- Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service
- Assist owners/manager in cost control and assist in ensuring budgeted profit and targets are met
- Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the brigade

To be successful for this role you will possess the following:
- Minimum of two years post qualification experience in American Diner style cooking essential
- Appropriate trade qualifications
- Experience in a fast paced, service and quality focused venues
- Guest orientated and passionate about food
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene practices
- The ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, relatively good English communication skills
- Possess a positive attitude and work well as part of the team

Salary $52K - $56K Neg. depending on Experience and what you can bring into the business. Immediate start.  The shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
