We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our team as a full-time Revenue Manager (RM).  This newly created position reports to our Group Manager – Sales & Marketing and is responsible for the implementation of our accommodation yield, distribution and on-line promotional strategies at our award-winning hotels; The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel and Hadley’s Orient Hotel.

Working closely with our group Marketing Manager and hotel Front Office/Reservations teams, the Revenue Manager will ensure the accurate and timely management of our room inventory, rate setting, rate loading, contracting and commissions.

Our Revenue Manager will be jointly accountable for meeting KPIs that include occupancy, average rate and guest satisfaction targets.  The development and maintenance of a sophisticated approach to acquiring and analysing market intelligence is a key element of this diverse role which also requires active participation in our reputation management, sales and marketing activities, group reservations and the administration/maintenance of our Property Management System (PMS).

The successful applicant will be an experienced industry professional who can clearly demonstrate they possess the following qualities:

  • excellent communication skills; and
  • acts with integrity and passion.

Experience in reservations and customer service is essential and a demonstrable commitment to continual improvement will be well regarded. The Revenue Manager is a salaried position, working as part of a roster that provides seven-day coverage to suit the seasonal requirements of the hotels.
